Does Carlmont have talent?

Scots showed off their talent this week in the spin-off of “America’s got Talent.”

“We were trying to come up with a way to portray all the talent Carlmont has to offer,” ASB President Gino Ferrario explained.

Student volunteers rose to the challenge in competing against each other to win a $75 visa gift card.

Talented students danced, sang and played the piano in the quad on during lunch.

The first four contestants performed on Tuesday, Apr. 26 and four more performed on Friday, Apr. 29. Out of those eight contestants, the judges, Mr. Hill and Mr. Garcia determined the winners.

Freshman student Raj Aurora expressed his feelings on Carlmont’s Got Talent, “The first day was really good but Friday wasn’t that great.”

Ferrario commented, “I believe everyone should come out and support our talented students. Scots don’t realize how skilled their fellow classmates are so it’s a good way to stop and appreciate those people.”

The judges will determine the winner over the weekend and will announce the final results on Moday, May 2.
