Cuisinett is the true French experience

The first thought to cross my mind when I first entered Cuisinett was: this looks like a real, authentic French restaurant.

Cuisinett, located on San Carlos Avenue near Laurel Street, is modeled and designed to look like a real hustling and bustling Parisian cafe. With its authentic French food, Cuisinett is one of the most unique and popular restaurants San Carlos has to offer.

Cuisinett’s menu includes French favorites such as baguettes, Ratatouille, and Quiche, to standard dishes including soups, salads, steak, and sandwiches with their own french flavor.

Ordering at Cuisinett is also from other popular San Carlos restaurants. Customers order at the front register and take a number to bring back to their table in order to receive their food.  The only downside to this restaurant is the very small space, accompanied by a long line to order food.

For an appetizer, I ordered some delicious mussels to share. They were soaked in a tasty broth, and the insides of the shells were cooked perfectly. For the main course, I ordered the Sandwich Parisien, which had ham and gruyere cheese. The gruyere had an interesting flavor to it and tasted surprisingly good with the ham.

For dessert, the menu has lemon tarts, creme brulee, and chocolate molten cake.

The pricing is very reasonable for the French delicacies on the menu and well worth experiencing.

Rating: 4 out of 5

Pricing: $$
