Seniors. Graduates. The price of Caps, Gowns, and Tassels is going UP after Friday. Purchase yours from the School Treasurer or Mr. Kelly in the ASB room. Get your caps, gowns, and tassels for graduation!! Prices go up NEXT WEEK! -Kelly 

All Creative reWriters- We will not meet this week. Our next club meeting will be on Thursday, March 6th, at lunch in A-16. We will continue to work with Sonia’s original fiction. -Wallace 

Come see the instrumental music concert: Chamber Music Night. Students will be performing a variety of music ranging from classical and jazz to pop and rock. It is this Friday, February 28th, at 7pm at the Carlmont Performing Arts Center. You can buy tickets at www.carlmontmusic.com. We hope to see you there! -Smart 

This is an announcement for yearbook photographs. If you are a club officer and you would like your club to be photographed for the 2013-2014 edition of Carlmont’s yearbook, check your email to find out the day and location of your club’s photograph.Once again, if you are a club officer, check your email for information regarding the day and location of your club’s photograph. Seniors: You have less than a week to submit your Financial Aid Application. It is okay to estimate your parents income in order to meet Sunday’s March 2nd Deadline. Drop by the College Center at lunch or 7th period if you need help or have questions. -Dominiguez

Attention AP students – This is the only week to purchase AP exams. Sale will take place in the treasurer’s office during lunch after after 6th period. You must have your student ID to purchase exams. The cost of exams are $90 each. -Rasor

Congratulations to our women’s soccer and basketball teams as well as our men’s soccer team on qualifying for CCS playoffs! Just a reminder that admission is required for all CCS playoff events.
All three teams play at home this week on the following days and times:
Wednesday Feb 26 Women’s Soccer vs Salinas @ 3:00
Wednesday Feb 26 Men’s Soccer vs San Benito @ 6:00
Student admission price for soccer games is $3
Thursday Feb 27 Women’s Basketball vs Milpitas or Independence @ 7:00.
Student admission price for basketball games is $5

Are you looking for a summer job?! Check out the Work Experience job board in the hallway by the guidance office. San Mateo County is offering high school internships through the Metropolitan Transportation Commission. The internships pay $10.75 an hour and are available in the following cities: San Bruno, Burlingame, San Carlos, and East Palo Alto. Applications are due this Friday, February 28th, so grab a paper application from the Work Experience board to apply, or apply online at www.mtc.ca.gov. Last year very few students applied for these positions, so those that did had a very good chance of getting one. -Govani
