eBehavior: Student Praises

eBehavior is a  system that is being used at Carlmont. It  provides schools with a solution to create a positive learning environment that improves teaching efficiency, student responsibility, and communication between parents, students, teachers, and faculty.

When a teacher recognizes that a student has added to their learning environment or has been on task during class, the student will receive praise over email from that teacher.

When asked how he received his praise Dylan Zheng said, “I got it once because I was wearing my I.D during class.”

Though, what is a praise good for?

Megan Rouse said, “It makes me feel like I have done something right, so i guess it’s good. I don’t really check my praises often, but I like how it helps out on detentions.”

Some students are praised for: always being ready to begin class, consistently doing homework, helpful, doing exceptionally well on the last test and etc.

Praises not only reward students  for good behavior, but also produces a more constructive learning environment for the students and teachers.
