How to Survive High School Day Seven: Find your passion

How+to+Survive+High+School+Day+Seven%3A+Find+your+passion

Passion. Seven letters. Two syllables. One question.

What is my passion?

When I asked myself this question last year, I struggled to answer it.

At first, I thought the answer would be easy. But then I realized, Sure, there were things that I liked but were they my passion? Did I love them enough to pursue them as a job?

It was a big question mark.

The things that you are passionate about can help you focus on what you want your future to become. It will help you pick classes and decide which clubs to join.

My best advice to freshmen is to try new things but also explore what you already love.

As a freshman, I never would have guessed that I would end up loving journalism. But it was something I’m glad I decided to pursue.

Find the answer to your question and discover what drives you.
