San Carlos Chamber of Commerce’s Art and Wine Fair is celebrating its 22nd year this weekend.  The festivities will begin at 10 a.m. and end at 6 p.m. on both days.

The fair brings all types of people together for food, entertainment, and information as well as art and wine.

Many local companies take advantage of this opportunity to promote their businesses—both new and old—and to provide the public with information.

Rockin’ Jump, a new business addition to San Carlos, was among the companies promoting their business. Claudio Cortez, a senior at Carlmont High School who works for Rockin’ Jump and helped promote for Rockin’ Jump at the fair. “It was cool working with the kids at the fair and helping Rockin’ Jump too.”

Along with entertainment for younger ages, such as face painting, obstacle courses, henna tattoos, magicians, and ventriloquists, the fair also offers entertainment for older audiences as well.

Some of the bands that will be featured at the fair are Jazz by Design, Caravanserai (Santana Tribute Band), Jazz Caliente, the Riptides, Rodeo Clowns (classic rock), Inoahband (R&B and Soul), Stompy Jones (Swing), and Mercy Beach (60s Party Music).

For those who enjoy art, over 275 artists will present everything from ceramics and pottery to photography and jewelry to visually enjoy as well as purchase.

Thanks to the San Carlos Chamber of Commerce, the community can come together and enjoy great family-friendly activities through Oct. 6 and Oct. 7.
