Carlmont’s new tennis courts

[media-credit id=10 align=”alignleft” width=”300″][/media-credit]Carlmont’s tennis team recently got their tennis courts re-done, due to them becoming worn-down. However, since they weren’t finished in time, the girl’s tennis team was forced to go to Highlands Park in San Carlos to practice.

This caused much inconvenience for the girls. “It is very inconvenient for me because people with seven periods need to rush, and also if you don’t drive you need to find rides,” said Jackie Gabovich. Another negative aspect about the Highlands tennis courts is that there are only five courts instead of seven, resulting in less space for the girls to practice.

“It was not necessary, the tennis courts were still in decent condition,” commented Taylor Choye.

On the other hand Gabovich disagreed, “Some of the courts were very messed up and not leveled, which caused the ball to be unpredictable.”

Although the girls must practice at Highlands for a couple more weeks, they are still very happy to receive new courts. Choye said, ” I’m very excited to play on them because they are new.”
