Cartoon: BA.2 Variant Challenges New Mandates

As spring arrives, so does another COVID -19 variant. The BA.2 variant already accounts for roughly 35 percent of all COVID-19 cases in the U.S. and has been steadily on the rise in Europe. This could very well challenge new mandates in California, as masks are now only strongly recommended in schools and most public spaces. (Sophia Sunbury )
