Cartoon: Senate passes bill to expand research on medical marijuana

The Senate passed the Medical Marijuana and Cannabidiol Research Expansion Act unanimously. This bill has been sent to President Biden to sign, which will expand the research on the benefits of medical marijuana and CBD. Marijuana suppliers and researchers will be registered by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to manufacture, distribute, dispense and possess marijuana or CBD for medical research purposes.
