Quencher sales have increased by 275% with the rising popularity of the “Stanley Cup” tumbler through social media platforms. The demand for the tumblers sky-rocketed further with the release of the limited editions in Target and Starbucks stores. This isn’t the first time a water bottle has gone viral–Hydro Flask bottles experienced a similar craze in 2020 that later mellowed out. Combined with the recent concern over the Stanley Cup lead pellet content, many believe these cups will be just another consumer trend of the past. (Skylin Lui)
