Did you already get your tickets for Carlmont Choirs’ Pops Concert, PASSPORT TO ADVENTURE?! The concert is this weekend, Friday and Saturday at 7pm. Would you change your chocolate-buying habits if you knew that 10-year old children were being used as slaves to help produce most of the chocolate we eat? If you would like to help fight for freedom for all people join the Freedom Fighters Club on Tuesday, October 15th at lunch in D21. -Mckee

You and your parents are invited to College Information Night on Tuesday, Oct 15th in the Student Union. At 6:30pm Dr. Dominguez will demonstrate how to use Naviance and at 7pm she will cover a senior timeline for college applications. -Dominguez

Students! This week is national Teen Read Week. This year’s theme is Seek the Unknown – which encourages teens to explore and learn about the unknown through mystery, adventure, sci-fi, and fantasy book.
This week is also your opportunity to take part in the Young Adult Library Association, YALSA’s annual Teens’ Top Ten where you can join teens choosing across the Country, and voice your choice by voting for your favorite book. An expert view of current trends, myths, and realities in the college
admission world.
Dr. Reider will discuss how to navigate through the ever-present media
hype, rankings, statistics, and advertising to stay sane and healthy during
the last two years of high school. There will be ample time for questions

Graduates. Yes, you heard that right. Graduates! If you want to pick who you walk with and sit with at Graduation, you can go to the ASB page of the Carlmont website and choose now. You will also get access to ALL senior activity notices until graduation. So, go to the website and pick your walking partner today! -Kelly

Seniors. Your Panoramic Picture will be taken at 10:00 am in the football bleachers next Wednesday, October 16. All seniors must be in the bleachers at 10:00 am next Wednesday for the Panoramic Picture. -Kelly
