Daily Bulletin: 10/31/13

All Creative reWriters- Plan to attend Thursday’s lunchtime meeting in room A-16. We will begin to work with Ana’s original poetry. -Wallace

Did you know there is an art museum in Paris that used to be a train station called the Musée d’Orsay? This Friday at lunch in room A5, there will be a fun art themed activity in French Club. See you there! -Burton

Winter Sport Tryouts for Basketball and Soccer begin November 4. For more information on tryout dates and times check the athletics portion of the CHS web-site.
Completed Athletic Clearance Packets need to be turned in to the main office by October 28 in order for you to be cleared on the first day of tryouts.
If you are currently playing a fall sports and would like to tryout for a winter sports you must turn in a second sport clearance packet by November 1. -Smith

Calling all students who want to be Outdoor Ed. counselors. Go to the ASB page of the Carlmont website to get information on being a counselor at Outdoor Ed. Counselors are needed immediately for Cipriani school November 12-15. See Mr. Kelly for more information -Kelly

Calling all students who are interested in trying out for the winter cheerleading/dance team. Coach K. will be holding a lunch time meeting on Friday, Nov. 1st in the main gym. She will be going over the try out packet, and talking about the season. She is really looking for new talent and strong male athletes who aren’t in season to help build up towards the Sequoia Showcase. Male athletes would not be required to dance, but instead would be learning how to stunt. Hope to see some new faces!! -Jankowski

Carlmont, have you heard about what happened to Pluto? Do you think that’s messed up? If so, come to the first meeting of Students Against the Removal of Pluto’s Planetary Status, Thursday at lunch in E-1. See you there. -Pluto
