The City of Belmont is looking for a committed student to serve on Belmont’s Park and Rec Commission. If you are interested in helping to improve parks and recreation for Belmont, consider applying for this one year position. Student parking permits are on sale THIS WEEK! Permits are $100 and are available to Seniors for the senior lot and to all drivers for the Scots Gym lot. Applications can be picked up in the Treasurer’s Office, room A9. Parking permits sell out very quickly, usually within the first few days! Do not wait, get your parking permits purchased EARLY! You’ll need your student ID to purchase a permit. -Gillogy

The Fall Sports Parent/Guardian meeting will be held in the main gym on Thursday, August 30 at 7:00pm. If you have an student-athlete playing on a fall sport team please plan on attending. This is your opportunity to meet your child’s coach and hear him/her address such issues as sportsmanship, scheduling, team expectations, team policies and procedures, fundraising and transportation. This is also the time to address any questions you may have. -Smith
