The City of Belmont is looking for a committed student to serve on Belmont’s Park and Rec Commission. If you are interested in helping to improve parks and recreation for Belmont, consider applying for this one year position. If you are interested, please see Mr. Braunstein at the beginning of lunch in D-27. -Braunstein

Do you have at least three A’s on your last report card? Do you like to do community service? CSF (The California Scholarship Federation) may be the club for you! Come to our informational meeting this Wednesday in room E-14 at lunch to hear about the club and get the form required to join. -Callan

Come check out the new club ODFL, which stands for One Dollar for Life, whose mission is to empower teens to help change the world! Our first meeting is Wednesday, Sept 4th in room E-16 @ lunch. Hope to see you there! -Mills

There will be a DECA meeting at lunch in D24 today. All students interested in joining are welcome to come. -Chun

The Filipino club is meeting for the first time this year today, in room D14. New members welcome. You do not have to be Filipino to join. -Volstad

Student parking permits are on sale THIS WEEK! Permits are $100 and are available to Seniors for the senior lot and to all drivers for the Scots Gym lot. Applications can be picked up in the Treasurer’s Office, room A9. Parking permits sell out very quickly, usually within the first few days! Do not wait, get your parking permits purchased EARLY! You’ll need your student ID to purchase a permit. -Gillogy

There will be a girls basketball meeting on Wednesday, September 4 in the main gym at lunch. Anyone interested in playing should attend. -Smith

There is a boys basketball meeting at lunch in the main gym on Thursday, September 5. Anyone interested in playing should attend. -Smith

The Fall Sports Parent/Guardian meeting will be held in the main gym on Thursday, August 30 at 7:00pm. If you have an student-athlete playing on a fall sport team please plan on attending. This is your opportunity to meet your child’s coach and hear him/her address such issues as sportsmanship, scheduling, team expectations, team policies and procedures, fundraising and transportation. This is also the time to address any questions you may have. -Smith
