Daily Bulletin: 9/12/13

Recently, an 8-year old girl died at the hands of her 40-year old husband. If issues like this make you want to do something, check out the Justice League of Carlmont – a new club for people interested in social justice issues. We will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 17th at lunch in Ms. McKee’s room – D21. -Mckee

There will be a DECA meeting in D24 at lunch.  All students are welcome. -Chun

The Class of 2015 meeting is right now in the ASB room. If you’re a Junior, be there! We have food! -Kelly 

Anyone interested in playing girls Lacrosse should attend a sign-up meeting on Thursday, September 19 at the start of lunch in the main gym. -Smith

If you are interested in playing soccer this year, the men’s soccer team will meet at lunch on Thursday (9/12/13) in the bleachers on the soccer field. -Beloff

Great News! The Library is now open! Drop in hours for students are before school, during lunch, and after school. Come to study, use a computer, check your library account in Destiny, use a school database, or find a good book to read. -Feitelberg

Calling all debaters! Please join us this Thursday at lunch in D-23 for our first debate club meeting of the year. Bring your friends and come learn what this club is all about. Remember, Thursday at lunch in D-23! -Govani

There is a Latinos Unidos Club meeting Thursday at lunch in room T-5. This is the first club meeting of the semester. All interested are welcome. -Godina

Community and Volunteers Wanted for the Little League Celebration this Sunday! This Sunday 9/15 from 10-1 at the Belmont Sports Complex, the Belmont Redwood Shores Little League will be holding a community celebration to celebrate the All Stars Northern CA championship. Everyone is welcome to come celebrate this fantastic achievement — there will be food, games, fun, and even our own Drum Line! We also need student volunteers to help out, if you are looking for service credit and want to be helpful! See Mrs. Braunstein in D-27 if you can help! -Braunstein
