Become a Teen Leader Reader!
Belmont Library is looking for high school volunteers to help 2nd-4th graders improve their reading skills. To participate, teens will attend a training session and volunteer one hour a week for a total of 20 hours. In order for teens to be paired with young readers, teens are asked to come to the training prepared to list their weekly schedule availability. Community service credit is available! 
This is a fun, meaningful way to gain experience working with children and earn community service hours.

Carlmont’s PSAT will be held on Wednesday, October 16th for all 10th and 11th graders. The school is requesting a $25 contribution to offset the cost of the PSAT. Contributions can be dropped off in the Treasurer’s office. – Gillogly

All Creative reWriters and students interested in writing and editing original poems and fiction, plan to attend Thursday’s lunchtime meeting in room A-16. We will edit Teagan’s story and learn about an upcoming short story contest. Remember to send what you write to John and Miss Wallace. -Wallace
