Daily Bulletin: 9/4/13

There will be a girls basketball meeting on Wednesday, September 4 in the main gym at lunch. Anyone interested in playing should attend. -Smith

There is a boys basketball meeting at lunch in the main gym on Thursday, September 5. Anyone interested in playing should attend. -Smith

All Creative reWriters and those interested in writing and editing original poems and fiction, come to the first club meeting of the year on Thursday, Sept. 5, in room A-16, near the main Admin building. Bring your lunch and any original writing that you have. -Wallace

Come check out the new club ODFL, which stands for One Dollar for Life, whose mission is to empower teens to help change the world! Our first meeting is Wednesday, Sept 4th in room E-16 @ lunch. Hope to see you there! -Mills

Do you have at least three A’s on your last report card? Do you like to do community service? CSF (The California Scholarship Federation) may be the club for you! Come to our informational meeting this Wednesday in room E-14 at lunch to hear about the club and get the form required to join. -Callan

The City of Belmont is looking for a committed student to serve on Belmont’s Park and Rec Commission. If you are interested in helping to improve parks and recreation for Belmont, consider applying for this one year position. If you are interested, please see Mr. Braunstein at the beginning of lunch in D-27. -Braunstein

Any girls interested in playing golf for Carlmont should attend an interest meeting in the gym at lunch on Tuesday, September 10. -Smith

Do you an interest and/or passion for Justice Issues like modern day slavery, human trafficking, child soldiers and other issues? Come to the inaugural meeting of a new club – the Justice League of Carlmont. This Thursday, Sept. 5th; room D21 with Ms. McKee. -Mckee

Are you interested in the criminal justice system? Would you like to join an exciting extra-curricular activity? Well, come to room E-2 this Thursday, Sept. 5th at lunch! We will provide information about Mock Trial and the upcoming tryouts. See Mr. G. in room E-2 if you have any questions about Mock Trial! -Gomez

Carlmont students, did you know that the Statue of Liberty was designed by a French sculptor named Frederic Auguste Bartoldi? In French Culture Club, we will have fun every two weeks with the French culture. Please come to French club during lunch this Friday September 6th in room A5 by the quad. There will be free crepes!!! -Burton

If you are interested in playing soccer this year, the men’s soccer team will meet at lunch on Thursday (9/12/13) in the bleachers on the soccer field. -Beloff
