Carlmont students celebrate the Monday morning of Homecoming Week by coming to school without having to deal with the task of getting dressed.The powderpuff football tournament kicks off on Monday with a lively match of freshmen versus juniors.For the third year in a row, the team of the current junior class reign champion in powderpuff football. The male cheerleaders encourage their team to victory in their first match against the freshmen.Juniors Vianka Adamovitch and Elena Mateus team up to pull both flags off of their freshman opponent.The ladies of Treble Clef show their spirit with outfits from many different time periods on Decades Day.Sophomore Annabelle Lee dodges defenders as she streaks toward the end zone in the seniors versus sophomores powderpuff game.The senior team surprises spectators during their powderpuff game with an impromptu dance number by both the girls on the team and their enthusiastic male cheering section.Juniors Sam Levy and Lukas Kelly display their spirit by wearing pink even on a day when only sophomores and juniors were present at school due to the PSAT.Junior Foster Kupbens said, “My favorite day was superhero day, because I liked running around in all of my Flash gear at school.”On Friday, drumline and ASB lead a march through the hallways at the end of fourth period, generating excitement for the homecoming game that night.International Relations and Advanced Placement United States History teacher Jarrod Harrison wears traditional Scottish garb to support the Scots on the day of the homecoming game.
