A hard-fought game between the Carlmont Scots and the Mercy Bears took place on Sept. 5, the Bears winning the game with a score of 3-1. While the Scots maintained strong defense and offense for much of the game, the Bears were able to get ahead in many instances with their aggressive gameplay, allowing them to win three sets out of five, securing their victory. This game helped the Scots get a feel for aspects of their game that needed to be improved going forward this season.
