The Junior Varsity Lady Scots got off to a good start to the 2012 season, beating Woodside High School 13-6.
“It was a solid team effort all around,” said sophomore Emily Rudger.
And Rudger is absolutely correct. The girls all helped each other out, with goals coming from over five different players.
The stellar offensive performance was coupled by an outstanding defensive effort, holding the Wildcats to just 6 goals.
The JV girls’Â hard work in the off season has propelled them to a first-game victory.
The Lady Scots dive into their second game at Hillsdale High School on Friday, Sept. 7.
