“I love homecoming week,” said Becky Kosovsky, a senior (not pictured). “It’s my favorite spirit week of the year. I think that because [socks and sandals] is a really easy spirit day that a lot of people can participate in, it’s a great start to homecoming week.”
Sadie North (left) and Samantha Turtle (right), both sophomores, dress up to Tuesday’s lifeguard theme. “Spirit week is my favorite, I mean, you get to wear a floaty to school,” Turtle said. “How could you not love that?”
Juniors Mia-Isobel Craig (left) and Morgan Yee (right) participate in Destination Day by wearing shirts from memorable vacations. “I chose to wear this Sydney, Australia shirt because it was my first time going to Australia and it was with my choir,” Craig said.
Sophomore Emily Livesay (not pictured) said, “I really liked the tropical theme because a lot of people have tropical shirts, like I just went into my dad’s closet and I grabbed a tropical shirt.” Her friend, sophomore Morgan Hawes (not pictured), said, “Overall Homecoming week has been a lot of fun.”
For Scots Day, the level of spirit varied.
Some people went as far as to paint their bodies blue and others just wore blue.
Many wore the team gear from the Carlmont sports they participate in.
Still, no matter the range in outfit choices, the commitment to school spirit was obvious the last day of the Homecoming Week.
