Cheerleaders’ asking for toys to donate

Carlmont cheerleaders are putting on a Toys for Tots charity drive during Dec. 1 to Dec. 6.

Toys for Tots is an organization designed for people to donate toys that will be delivered to less fortunate children on Christmas.

The toys must be unwrapped, and anyone is allowed to donate.

The goal of this organization is to allow the less fortunate children of our country to experience the joy of Christmas.

According to the Toys for Tots website, they hope that by doing this annual charity drive, “It will unite all members of local communities in a common cause for children, and will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.”

Cheerleader Talia Fusaro commented on the toy drive stating, “I think it’s great that Carlmont Cheer can make a difference in the lives of children who are less fortunate.”

Spread a little holiday cheer and donate unwrapped toys to less fortunate children.
