After four years away from the spotlight, Harry Styles released his fourth album, “Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally,” on March 6.
Following his 2022 album, “Harry’s House,” fans have been counting down the days until a new album is released, and now, they are finally satisfied.
“When I found out he was putting out a new album, I was ecstatic,” said University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) student Nejla Moghaddas.
Styles continues the tradition of the classic 10–12-track album, blending a diverse collection of songs that each capture vivid, real human experiences. Every track adds its own emotional aspect to the record, creating a journey that feels both personal and relatable, further connecting with the listeners.
“It definitely feels different from his previous albums. The songs feel deeper, which I like,” said Anna Tsivikas, a junior at Sequoia High School.
Each listener is likely to find a song that speaks to them, adding to the album’s sense of intimacy and connection.
“‘Coming Up Roses’ immediately caught my eye. It’s similar to his typical sound, but I just felt it to be his most beautiful song yet,” Moghaddas said.
Spotify has also seen an increase in daily streams following the release of Styles’ first three albums.
On Jan. 22, Styles officially released the album’s lead single, “Aperture,” on Spotify, later unveiling the song’s music video on YouTube.
Alongside the hit album, Harry Styles announced the “Together, Together Tour”, a mini global run set to kick off in 2026.
“I’m very excited that he is back on tour. It has been years since everyone last saw him live,” said Bruna Plafoni, a freshman at Carlmont High School.
Styles will be performing in multiple cities, including Amsterdam, London, São Paulo, Mexico City, New York City, Melbourne, and Sydney.
One of the tour’s biggest stops is Madison Square Garden in New York City, where Harry Styles is scheduled to play a staggering 30 shows.
“30 shows seems insane, but I think it shows how dedicated he is to his career and his passion for music,” Plafoni said.
While fans are loving this album, there are certain things that they would love Styles to do next.
“While I love Harry’s music generally, I would love to see a full rock album from him, or at least something along the lines of his song ‘Medicine,'” Moghaddas said.
While some fans are craving an upbeat, punk-influenced album from Harry Styles, others are hoping for another slow, melancholy-filled release.
“I hope to see another slower album like this one, it makes the songs more interesting to me,” Tsivikas said.
