At a gathering at One Love Cafe in San Bruno, Sheriff Christina Corpus invited community members to ask their questions on Measure A. During the event, she also spoke out against the treatment she has faced in light of the allegations. "I disrupted a lot of plans for people when I won the election, and now there’s a major push for me to leave office," Corpus said. "But that push isn’t based on my performance or the promises I made to the people. It’s based on lies, hearsay, and the unions wanting to tell me what to do."
