On March 19, 2026, Carlmont’s varsity volleyball team faced off against Burlingame High School in a four-set match. The game started off with a Scots win in the first and second sets, 25-20 and 25-23, followed by a loss in the third set, 27-25, but the Scots came back strong in the fourth set to win 25-20. This game showcased the Scots’ ability to thrive in adversity and come back from a tough loss.

Hunter Prince (class of 2027) is a junior at Carlmont High School and is an editor for the Highlander. Outside of school, you can see him playing with the Peninsula Youth Orchestra and volunteering with the Young Men’s Service League. He also enjoys running for the Varsity Track/XC team.
