Sound design is more diverse and accessible than ever

In the past decade alone, many musicians have utilized digital sound design to elevate their songs because of its accessibility and its variability of sounds. Digital synthesizers electronically create sounds with the user’s ability to modify the sound to their liking. They come in many forms, such as additive synthesis, subtractive synthesis, and frequency modulation synthesis (FM).
