With hundreds of student-athletes and over 10 sports teams at Carlmont, students go through injuries every season. This can be hard for student-athletes both mentally and physically. This is where Carlmont Athletic Trainer Celine Estrada’s role comes in; she treats students for many different injuries and health problems, providing knowledge on recovery, sleep, and stress.

Hunter Prince (class of 2027) is a junior at Carlmont High School and is an editor for the Highlander. Outside of school, you can see him playing with the Peninsula Youth Orchestra and volunteering with the Young Men’s Service League. He also enjoys running for the Varsity Track/XC team.
