Benjamin Brown, Staff Writer

Benjamin Brown (Class of 2026) is a sophomore at Carlmont High School and a Staff Writer for Scot Scoop. He is excited to go to football, baseball, and soccer games for the Scot Scoop sports profile. He is a part of the varsity golf team at Carlmont, and in his free time, he competes competitively in the Rubiks Cube, plays violin, and studies for classes.

Freshman Kathryn Winters hits her tee shot on the 10th hole. All competitors started on the 10th hole, which was unusual since many start on the first hole of the course. Winters shot a 99, finishing fifth on the team.

As the round closes, Ellie Molholm finishes her round with a long putt on the ninth hole. Molholm finished her round plus-nine over par, rounding out to a 44 and ending her second-best on the team. Molholms putt came up a little short. She then tapped in for par to finish her round.
