Colleges are actively trying to improve and uplift some economic burden on students. "Scholarships, grants, and other forms of financial aid are extremely important and helpful in keeping higher education accessible for all. Without these forms of aid, it is certain that nearly all universities will see a huge loss in attendance by lower-middle-class students," said Alex Kim, a sophomore at Carlmont.
