Cartoon: ChatGPT has no place in schools

Schools across the country have banned the artificial intelligence ChatGPT, which can answer essay prompts, solve equations, write poetry, and perform various other tasks. Student outrage over educators’ retaliation is heavily misplaced; restricting access to chatbots is not meant to increase student stress but rather to preserve original thought. The use of chatbots for academic dishonesty is not only an insult to teachers but the users themselves, who choose to rely on a program rather than their own intellect. (Andrew Shu)
