Cartoon: Kung Fu Panda 4 kicks the sand

Making around $3.8 million from its preview on March 7, Kung Fu Panda 4 is predicted to make up to $45 million to $50 million. Dune: Part Two, another movie that was recently released, is estimated to earn up to $40-45 million. Despite recent speculation about Kung Fu Panda 4’s ability to outperform the other films in its franchise, the movie marks the biggest debut since the original Kung Fu Panda movie, which made $60 million. While many viewers consider Dune: Part Two and Kung Fu Panda 4’s fight for the top the “box office battle of the sequels,” Kung Fu Panda certainly gains traction due to its nostalgia. (Skylin Lui)
