Cartoon: Meta’s Misstep

Following a rapid rise in expenses, unstable ad revenue, and increased competition, Meta’s (formerly Facebook’s) stock broke records by plunging 26% between Feb. 2-3, an amount that translates to a loss of roughly $230 billion. Put into perspective, Meta lost more money overnight than the entire net worth of companies like Netflix, Costco, and Intel. (Tymofiy Kornyeyev)
