NASA announced a collaboration with luxury fashion brand Prada on the design of its new spacesuits. The suits were planned for the 2025 Artemis III moon landing mission and will be a departure from conventions: lighter, more mobile, and more comfortable. NASA sought Prada specifically because of its expertise in raw materials and manufacturing techniques. The new suits are expected to be tailor-made for each astronaut instead of the “one-size-fits-all” approach taken to previous suits. (Tymofiy Kornyeyev)
