After facing international pressure, FIFA has officially banned Russia from competing in this year’s World Cup, which is set to be held in Qatar. The pressure came about as countries such as Sweden, England, Poland, the Czech Republic, and many others refused to compete against Russia amidst their current war with Ukraine. (Sophia Sunbury)
