Emma Coronel, wife of the infamous drug lord El Chapo, has been released from prison, sparking intrigue and debate. Amid scrutiny, her high-profile presence during El Chapo’s trial and social media prominence may have influenced her lenient sentence. The justice system should be reformed, and Coronel should face appropriate charges for her involvement in drug distribution, money laundering, and other offenses. (Emma Yin)
