Cartoon: Book-to-movie adaptation brings intergenerational connection

The release of the book-to-film adaptation  Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret has allowed parents to share the coming-of-age story of the 1970s with their children. The original book was written by prolific children’s writer Judy Blume. Like other older movies featuring a character coming of age, the new Judy Blume adaptation has created a joint experience between parents venturing through their teenage years when the book was released and their children who watch the movie today.
