Cartoon: Brainwave warden

When you go in for an x-ray or download a new app that tracks your sleep cycle or calories, you may accept that those apps can see your data. However, what you may not know is that your brain may be up for sale too– the data from electrical signals controlling your every thought and action can be bought. Colorado’s new bill aims to stop this. The bill secures proper privacy protections from big tech companies aiming to use biological and neural data, something all states should follow suit in.
