Cartoon: Growing measles threat

COVID-19 took over the past several years, overshadowing other diseases. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), there has been a steady decline in measles vaccination coverage, and nearly 40 million children missed their measles vaccine in 2021. This poses a serious issue, as over 128,000 deaths and 9 million cases occurred last year. Parents should make sure to get their children vaccinated and protected. (Glydelle Espano)
