Cartoon: The Meta-curse

The rise of artificial intelligence has brought forth a plethora of AI-generated images. Disgustingly, that includes those of young children. Across the internet, altered or created images of young kids have begun surfacing at an alarming rate. The development of AI makes it difficult for authorities to distinguish between generated and real victims. Meta’s new end-to-end encryption makes this job even harder. Technology giants such as Meta should take greater responsibility to catch the child predators on their platforms. (Shiyo Ohashi)
