Cartoon: Weighing lives

The Texas Supreme Court pulled the brakes on a lower court allowing an abortion for a woman with a fetus with fatal conditions. Texas has strict abortion laws and has now instated a statewide ban on abortion where the mother and child’s life may be in danger. In this case, the child, even if born, would likely die before the age of one, and the mother would be unable to have kids again. For the sake of human life, abortion should be legal nationwide.
