For the first time in Europe and the third time worldwide, an entire Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton has been sold via the Koller auction house for $6.1 million in a rare auction in Zurich, Switzerland. The structure was bought by a private European collector. However, this sale makes it difficult for researchers to study the T-Rex. As fossils are rare and have great scientific value, they should be available for public and scientific observation, not in the private collection of the person who can pay the most for them.
