At the start of the pandemic in March 2020, shelters, breeders, and other organizations that sell or have dogs up for adoption have run out of supply. A lack of puppies caused by the "COVID puppy movement" has been seen across the country. People with a new abundance of time decided that it was the perfect opportunity to get the puppy they have always wanted.
