Lion dancers interact with the crowd as they make their way down the street. During their performance, the dancers made their way from the stage down the length of the market. “What motivates me to lion dance is spreading happiness around the community and seeing people smile, especially the kids; that’s one of my favorite parts,” said performer Brandon Nguyen.
On the night of Friday, May 29, 365 Night Market held their monthly event in San Jose, this month highlighting Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) heritage. With the help of several vendors and fun events for people to participate in, the market attracted many visitors. They also featured performances, including a highlight lion dance.
