Scots junior Nathan Werbinski slides safely into third base after a deep hit to right field. Werbinski contributed consistently at the plate throughout the game. He finished with three hits and a .750 batting average.
The Carlmont Scots played the Capuchino Mustangs during a league matchup on Friday, May 15. The Mustangs took an early lead during the top of the first, but the Scots were quick to respond in the bottom of the first. The Scots won 8-2, concluding a successful 8-6 league season and finishing fourth in the Peninsula Athletic League Bay Division.
