"We have three seniors, and they played pretty much the whole game. I think we're able to have a little fun with this group of guys and be able to close out this season strong," said Daniel Nelson, the head coach of the boys varsity volleyball team.
The Carlmont Scots defeated the Menlo Atherton Bears 3-1 on Thursday, April 30, winning three sets by scores of 25-21, 25-20, and 25-22, while dropping the third set 23-25. The victory was made even more special as the team celebrated seniors Erik Gordi, Vincent Yip, and Noah Meeks at their final home game. The Scots closed out the match with a strong fourth set performance to secure the win in front of a packed home crowd.
