Gigging has long since been an essential component in Carlmont’s jazz musicians’ journeys throughout their careers in music. These gigs served as the primary means for students to obtain experience and connections through live performances. Those students encourage aspiring jazz musicians to explore gigging and arm others with the knowledge of how to make their entry into the jazz scene.
