Gabrielle Broadbear (class of 2028) is a first-year writer for Scot Scoop and a sophomore at Carlmont. Outside of school, you can find her playing soccer, hanging out with friends, or trying new foods.

Carlmont freshman Sienna Lee swims in her 100-meter individual medley where she completed four strokes in butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle.  To prepare for the meet, the team made sure to practice turns and starts which helped Lee unexpectedly reach a personal record. "I took a week off for spring break and I didn't think I was going to PR or anything," Lee said.

Fans at the A Boogie Wit da Hoodie concert in 2017 put their hands up during a song. Since then, ticket prices have increased due to various factors that have limited fans from seeing their favorite artists. Despite this, concert quality has drastically improved, contributing to demand and high prices. "The concerts I have gone to have been worth it based on their price, and they were a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see my favorite artists perform live," said Carlmont sophomore Alexis Gee.
