Cartoon: Does “Mean Girls 2” retain any meaning?

“Mean Girls”, the beloved 2000s coming-of-age film, portrays the complex social order of high school girls. Now, twenty years later, the iconic movie has inspired a remake. Although it has immediately faced backlash over changes in storyline, costumes, and castings, the new movie holds constant the ideas of friendship in girlhood, kindness, and staying true to oneself.
