Cartoon: Grammar and guns

A year has passed since the Tennesee school shooting that left six people dead. The community is still reeling from the deaths, and the lawmakers are trying to find a solution. Their proposal? A bill that allows teachers to carry a concealed handgun. Although the bill specifies that teachers have to go through training and approval, the notion that more and more guns are being brought into school is alarming and opposed by parents of the children who survived the shooting. To keep our kids safe, we need to limit and regulate gun use, not throw more firearms into our education system. (Shiyo Ohashi)
