Cartoon: No Excuse for Dr. Seuss

Despite Dr. Seuss’ fame for his light-hearted children’s books, six of them, “Scrambled Eggs Super!,” “On Beyond Zebra!,” “If I Ran the Zoo,” “And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street,” “McElligot’s Pool,” and “The Cat’s Quizzer” were banned for their messages of racism, sexism, and cultural appropriation.
