Cartoon: A Not-so-fowl Thanksgivings

When most people picture Thanksgiving, they summon images of turkey, pumpkin pie, and a giant happy family crowded around the dinner table. However, the holiday is not uniform, and its true spirit is in celebrating gratefulness. Many other cultures also celebrate Thanksgiving, though in different ways. The Harvest Festival in Korea, Festival of the Yams in Ghana, or, more locally, people gathering with those close to them for Friendsgiving. (Shiyo Ohashi)
